Little River is currently CLOSED for the annual lambing season. It has been closed since 2nd August 2021 and will remain closed until further notice.
The reason that the site is closed for lambing (and most of Banks Peninsula) is that ewes when stressed (from wings / gliders overhead and at launch) will abort, abandon & miss mother lambs, this normally results in dead lambs.

It is each pilots individual responsibility be they a club member, visiting or commercial operation, to be up to date with site and club notices and to make certain they have the most current information and to ask when they don't know.
